March 19th was one of the most anticipated events of the year for us here at Dorman - it was the 2015 NARPM Landlord Symposium. For us licensees it's a full day of continuing education sponsored by a ton of great local vendors for different industry related services. We really learned a lot about how to refine best practices in this industry. A special thanks to Steve Schultz (our regional NARPM RVP) of Bluefox Properties in AZ for coming out and sharing his wealth of knowledge. Can't wait until next year! Read More

Effective April 16th of this year, the requirements for manufacturers concerning the efficiency of the hot water heaters made and sold will be shifting positively towards greater energy savings, but negatively towards our pocket-books. There are also more strict building code requirements for how these hot water hears are to be installed. Both of these things ultimately mean that the cost of installing even a standard hot water heater will increase by around 25%.
